JOHN NIETO  - “American Master”  March 1 – March 13

Known for his brightly-colored wildlife and Native American images, Nieto’s latest “American Icon” collection broadens his repertoire with images of famous personalities, musicians and artists.  From Miles Davis to Chuck Berry, Georgia O’Keefe to Picasso, Nieto brings each personality to life in his own colorfully bold unique style.

BOB CROFUT  - “American Remembrance”     Month of March

Based on memories, Bob Crofut’s work sets a mood contrasting the real and the imagined.  “Mystery, mood and atmosphere are the qualities I’m after in my work. To accomplish this, I’ve developed a style I call soft focus realism that allows me to subordinate detail to a moody, poetic effect.” Crofut’s subjects are entirely American, based on American Indians, hunting, cowboys, fly fishing and other outdoor experiences.

As featured in the Western Art Collector - March 2008 edition

ANDRE SKORUT – “Western Vistas”  March 14 – March 29

The panoramic landscapes of Andre Skorut have a contemporary look and feel, and a distinctive style using special glazing techniques emphasizing colorful layers of sky and earth. With a somewhat abstract influence, the subjects of his landscapes: the mountains, rivers, trees, and ever-stretching fields of Skorut’s canvases bring the Western landscape to life.
